FOUNDER

RODRIGO GUTIERREZ

Corialent

12 years ago, Rodrigo decided that the Coca Colas of the world shouldn’t be the only ones who get to have all the fun in the advertising industry. He was sick of all the dull, corporate, navy blue and white B2B work out there. Business people are people too. Corialent specializes in B2B marketing that doesn’t suck. And they want to get the rest of the industry drinking that delicious KoolAid.

IF YOU WANT TO JOIN THE EVENT, YOU HAVE TWO CHOICES.   1. Email hillary@theartswave.org and ask very nicely to attend.  2.  Show up at Union Hall at 6pm tonight with bribes in the form of chocolate or beer.

Challenge 1

Arts Check-in & Loyalty App

Proposed by : ArtsWave

Using geodata and existing resources such as CincyArtsGuide.com, create a mobile app that would allow people to find art and arts experiences near them and then check in, rate and share those experiences. Users will create a personal, lifelong digital arts diary and build social communities around arts participation – theoretically around the world. Ideally, the solution also would suggest arts experiences based on user check-ins and ratings and, for the Cincinnati market, include click-thrus to venue ticket websites and opportunities for ArtsWave ArtsPass members to accrue discounts based on a loyalty rewards system.

Challenge 2

Mobile Arts Education & Engagement

Proposed by : ArtWorks, Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati, Contemporary Arts Center

Capture people’s inspiration by and engagement with the arts by building a digital way for them to learn more about the artist(s) and issues presented as well as follow the artist(s) and discover more work by them.

Challenge 3

Connecting People Through Arts

Proposed by : Cincinnati Shakespeare Company

People often want to go to an exhibit or performance but don’t want to go alone. Give people a digital way to find and connect with people who have similar arts interests.

Challenge 4

Personal Art Curation

Proposed by : Cincinnati Art Museum

Capitalizing on the Cincinnati Art Museum’s large permanent collection, which will be digital this spring, build a tool that would allow people to curate and share their own art exhibit.

CHALLENGE 5

Cincinnati Arts Tracker

Proposed by : Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati May Festival

Many Cincinnati artists and arts organizations create and perform new work that then goes on to great acclaim and wide appeal elsewhere. Build a solution that would allow people to track Cincinnati premieres and artists.

Challenge 6

Creating a Cincinnati Arts Experience

Proposed by: Cincinnati Shakespeare Company

Help people pair arts events and experiences with other Cincinnati establishments and attractions, for example, suggesting a great restaurant – based on food-type, proximity and atmosphere – with a showing of a new play.

Challenge 7

Creating an Interactive Arts Experience

Proposed by : Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park

Use technology to enliven the lobby space before and after performances to immerse people in the arts experience and allow them to interact and engage in new ways with the work being presented.

CHallenge 8

BUILDING A PATRON DATA PROFILE

Proposed by : Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and Taft Museum of Art

Use social media posts and pictures to build patron profiles and to discover behavior patterns and preferences among visitors. Then, take that information to target new audience members and to help guide and focus programming.

PRIZES THAT YOU WON'T BELIEVE

If all of the exciting stuff wasn't enough, each member of the winning team will walk away with a BRAND NEW IPAD PRO, tickets to Arts performances, and the potential for additional funding to further develop the concept.

9:30PM FRIDAY

CONCERT : MULTIMAGIC
